Flight Line Stands

Boeing Apache AH-64 Helicopters

The AH-64 Flight Line Stand is specifically designed to service Apache helicopters out on the flight line.  Non-slip decks and sturdy, highly visible handrails allow maintenance personnel to easily and safely service the helicopter, preventing injuries from falls.  Fall protection is mandated by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA).  The flight line stands meet or exceed OSHA requirements for worker safety.

The lightweight, high-strength aluminum construction of the AH-64 Flight Line Stand is engineered for mobility and safety.  It is mounted on large sturdy swivel castors with 16" pneumatic, foam-filled tires so that the stand can be easily moved and placed where it is needed.  Foot-activated brakes lock the wheels in position.  The Flight Line Stand can be moved by hand or towed using a tow bar.

Side gates swing open so that the tail rotor can rotate.  Rubber bumpers protect the skin of the aircraft at points of contact.  Kick panels 4" high on the deck catch rolling objects and dropped tools.  The stand comes equipped with 20' grounding cable, fire extinguisher, and FOD box.

A popup step raises up from the main platform.  It locks into place at three different positions providing access to the upper parts of the helicopter.  A spring-loaded catch secures the step when in position and disengages in order to easily collapse the step.

Although the AH-64 Flight Line Stand is a smaller version of the UH-60 Flight Line Stand, we are in the process of incorporating improvements requested by our customers.  Images of the new AH-64 Flight Line Stand should be available shortly.
