Aircraft Maintenance Platforms MH-53 Sea Stallion Helicopters
The Maintenance Platform features high-strength, lightweight, aluminum construction with state-of-the-art construction combined with state-of-the-art technology. From bottom to top, the platforms provide easy and safe access to all crucial service areas of the aircraft.
Four (4) multi-tiered platforms (highlighted in blue) surround the Nose, Left-Side, Right-Side, and Tail Sections. The platforms are designed for easy maneuverability. On the MH-53 the tail with the tail rotor is hinged and folds back. It is serviced from the upper platform (highlighted in green). The platform sections can be separated from each other for storage or for replacement. The system is designed with a small "footprint" to fit in hangers with limited floor space.

Precision Lift, Inc. is the distributor for maintenance platforms specifically designed to service MH-53 Sea Stallion helicopters.
Non-slip decks and sturdy handrails allow maintenance personnel to easily and safely service the helicopter, preventing injuries from falls. Fall protection is mandated by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Our platform forms a complete MH-53 FALL SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM that wraps around the aircraft creating an aircraft maintenance bay. The system meets or exceeds OSHA requirements for worker safety.
The platform system is sturdy. It facilitates training of maintenance technicians by giving the instructor and a group of trainees access to high and hard-to-reach portions of the aircraft.
MH-53 Maintenance Platforms are designed with direct input from maintenance technicians who service these helicopters. Decks feature multiple sliding floor panels that allow for a contoured fit to the aircraft. Fold-down hand railings provide extra access and work space. As shown on the left there is easy access to remove the rotor and service the hub, the main shaft and bearings. All main deck sections are wired with a multiple outlet electrical service and compressed air delivery system.
