Aircraft Maintenance Platforms Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighter
Non-slip decks and sturdy handrails allow maintenance personnel to easily and safely service the aircraft, preventing injuries from falls. Fall protection is mandated by the U.S. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Our platform forms a complete
F-16 FALL SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEM with platform decks at service locations around the aircraft. The system meets or exceeds OSHA requirements for worker safety.
The platform sections can be separated from each other for storage or for replacement. The system is designed with a small "footprint" to fit in hangers with limited floor space.

Precision Lift, Inc. is the distributor for maintenance platforms specifically designed to service
Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighter aircraft. 
The Maintenance Platform features high-strength, lightweight, aluminum construction with state-of-the-art construction combined with state-of-the-art technology. From bottom to top, the platforms provide easy and safe access to all crucial service areas of the aircraft.
Three (3) platforms (highlighted in red) surround the front end of the aircraft, providing full access to the nose of the aircraft and easy access to the cockpit. Deck sliders (highlighted in blue) with rubber bumpers fit the contour of the aircraft but protect the aircraft skin. Toe kick plates (highlighted in yellow) prevent tools from dropping on people working below.
The stairs up to the platforms which access the wings are surfaced with "tread grip" (highlighted in green) and have sturdy 42 inch safety handrails. The platforms are designed for easy maneuverability. Easy-glide casters (6 inch) allow each platform to be moved by one person to the correct position. Easy-lock brakes hold the platform in place. Adjustable jack screws compensate for uneven floors. 
Multi-tier platforms provide full access to the tail section. The top hinge of the rudder can be easily serviced from the upper platform shown on the right. Optional air and electrical outlets are available. 
F-16 Maintenance Platforms are designed with direct input from maintenance technicians who service these aircraft.
