Helping fire fighters

The Monarch Volunteer Fire Department is better equipped to face fires with a new 300-gallon fire suppression system, complete with hoses, donated by Precision Lift Inc. of Monarch.

The company wanted to help the department, which is small and has limited funding, wrote Cathy Burton, program manager for Precision Lift.

The equipment is worth about $24,000.
