Heavy-Duty Wagon for the HB2000 and HB3000 Heli-Basket

The 2.5-ton wagon is used to move a loaded HB2000 or HB3000 Heli-Basket over prepared or unprepared surfaces. The wagon can be used in forward staging areas where no paved tarmac is available. The drawbar with pintle ring can be attached to a fork lift, tractor, utility vehicle, or, as shown above, an ATV and the wagon towed to the lift-off point.

This wagon is rated for 5000 lbs. Thus, it can carry a fully loaded HB2000 Heli-Basket or a HB3000 Heli-Basket with up to 3900 pounds of payload.

The wagon is equipped with 4 pneumatic tires, 24" in diameter, electric brakes on the rear wheels, and automotive-style steering. The deck is 32" above the ground and is 109" long and 60" wide. Four reflectors are a safety feature for nighttime use.

Operator Platform

When the heavy duty wagon is used to transport the FA-400 Fire Suppression Module or the DWFD Rapid Response Module, an optional platform is available for the operator to stand on while operating the pump and other systems in the module.

Our 1 ton wagon is designed for moving a HB2000 Heli-Basket with a light to medium load from the hanger out onto the tarmac.
